We (Ille, Vd, Tobe, and Miet) live in Tielt, West Flanders, Belgium, but after more than 30 years, we feel completely at home among the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees.
Vd, our ‘padré’ of the house, knows the Sierra de Guara better than his own hometown after spending several decades in the world of Spanish canyons.
"Every year, I try to take a week off with my friends to descend the refreshing rivers using ropes and a neoprene suit. Canyoning is my greatest passion, and I’d love to be your guide through the more than 600 canyons of Spain! Let’s go!"
Tobe and Miet are the ‘niños’ of Vd and Ille.
They love contributing to their family’s Spanish dream.
Las Eras – Pura Vida feels like a second home to them, and they can’t wait to share it with the world.

…is located in the Sierra de Guara National Park, specifically in the border region of Parc National, Aragón.
This setting offers a breathtaking environment—unspoiled nature, the ruggedness of the Pyrenees, charming villages, cozy Spanish restaurants, and more.
Thanks to its location, it is also a true mecca for canyoneers, mountain bikers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
As you can see on the map, our Bed and Breakfast is located in the middle of nowhere—perfect for complete relaxation.
Good to know:
The nearest supermarket can be found in Aínsa or Boltaña, just a 30-minute drive away.
FACT: The GR-1 passes by our B&B, which often leads to cool and spontaneous encounters!

Just a stone's throw away is the source of the Río Véro, located in what we call the 'Spanish Grand Canyon'. Spotting griffon vultures in their pristine habitat is an activity in itself.
There are also many beautiful, secluded spots to take a refreshing dip.
For sports enthusiasts, there is a wide range of options."

As you enter Sarsa de Surta, you’ll be welcomed by its charming Romanesque bridges and picturesque little church.
Follow the road uphill, and at the end of the path, we’ll be waiting for you with a refreshing welcome drink. You’ll naturally find yourself in our oasis of tranquility, surrounded by a colorful garden!
